Holy Cow! Bucky is 6-0-2

And, swept Minnesota.

And, is now ranked in the top 10. It's been a long time.

The Big 10 is going to be tough. Michigan State, Michigan, and Penn State are ranked 1-3. Ohio State is # 19. Minnesota is just on the outside of the top 20 looking in.
 
I still think the B1G is a college hockey abomination, but being #9 just feels surreal. Two, count 'em, TWO comparisons were made between Fitzgerald and a former Badger goal-scorer currently playing in Montreal.

Fitz isn't that good, but it sure feels great to score goals again and not just from one guy!

Houser has gotta be on the short list for Richter finalists.
 
I've been a Canadiens fan since '67. I love Caufield's skill, but the Canadiens need more grinders around him to protect him. But he's proving give him open ice and he can be a terror.

At least Fitzgerald has some size.

And, who really cares it's November and we're not out of it. Been awhile.

Bucky split with them Ohio State.

Currently:#2
  • # 2 in NPI which is used to pick National Tornament.
  • Tied for 1st in B1G
It's early, but recently we've been done by now
 
Our record against Ohio State in particular the last 5-6 years is just bananas.

Game 1 against Mich was the ref show and every single break and bounce going UM's way. Game 2 was more indicative of the actual difference between the two teams.

Game 1 against Ohio State we just got absolutely bodied and is just how things have gone between these two teams this decade. Game 2 was high energy and I'm happy we got out of there with a split, though OSU took 5 of 6 points on the weekend.
