2022 NFL News

Mayfield has had 4 coaches in 4 years.
2018: Hue Jackson, and Gregg Williams
2019: Freddie Kitchens
2020-21: Kevin Stefanski

Kind of hard for a QB to find his stride when the offensive philosophy gets changed on an annual basis.

I think Mayfield got the crap end of the stick his first two years and it really set him back in his development
And the talent level around him was poor. Is he elite no, is he an adequate starter yes.

geez, who saw that coming?
When all these platforms started up to trade bitcoin, you knew the end was near. and all those stars that bought in are gonna lose everything because of how the contracts work (the platforms can use their investments to pay off debt). and because of all that, all those stars like LeBron and Brady who marketed those platforms - they're going to be sued along with the platforms.

And he played all of last year on a bum shoulder!

I don't know what he's like in the building but I think I have a damn good idea of what scummy Cleveland ownership is like, so im inclined to come down on Baker's side here. If Rodgers had retired this year he'd be #1 on my "outside help" list, and you could do a lot worse.

The chances of a spokesperson or endorser getting sued is slim and none. You would have to prove intent and most of these deals have indemnification language to protect them

I think a lot of people underestimate the value of Mayfield. I think he's a decent enough QB. Probably in the middle of the pack in the NFL, in my opinion.

He has not been given the opportunity of settling into a system on offense that builds through repetition. He's been asked to go with a new system three times, in that many years, and that's not a recipe for success. Neither is the ever changing number of sub par players that he had to work with on offense.

With the right team, he might surprise people with what he has to offer. I certainly don't count him out in the future.
