General:
- Pads today.
Not Practicing: OLB Rashan Gary (Groin), RB Aaron Jones (Hamstring), DL Kenny Clark (Groin), WR EQSB (Hamstring), WR Juwann Winfree (Shoulder)
Injuries: OT David Bakhtiari (PUP ACL), OLB Za'Darius Smith (NFI Back), CB Will Redmond (NFI Foot), OLB Randy Ramsey (Ankle)
Offense:
- LB Isaiah McDuffie and Chris Blair are back.
- Routes on air, so it was a non shooting period but I’m 90% sure Rodgers just completed a 20 yard pass with his left hand.
- Runyan at LG with the ones to start team.
- Short completion to Tonyan, wide open in flat.
- Aaron Rodgers just sprinted out to the edge on an outside run from AJ Dillon to lead block. Even threw a light stiff arm at Josh Jackson then playfully got in Jackson’s grill and flexed after the play.
- Kylin Hill still rotating with the 1s (Jones is out).
- Adams beats Ento clean in team drills but Rodgers overthrows him by about 5 yards. Should have been a td.
- Love just aired out a beautiful deep ball 50 yards downfield but Thompkins broke off the route a little early and ball ended up just out of reach.
- Fumbled toss between Love, Taylor. Defense recovers.
- Funchess limps off. Happened yesterday too and he ended up coming back.
- Ball goes to Adams on a short crosser, Jaire on his hip. Davante taking short receptions all the way to the end zone even if he probably would have been tackled.
- Another short completion to Adams for a few yards. Jaire all over it.
- 3rd & Long, Cobb over middle for 15 vs. Sullivan.
- Play after being picked, Love comes back and hits Thompkins deep up the left sideline with Ento in coverage. Rough day for Ento so far.
- Packers defense loses M. Taylor on a crosser. Love finds him easy. Ka’Dar closest in coverage.
- Mixup on offense as Amari and Nauta crash into each other on a crosser.
- WR Devin Funchess has been limping around. He’s still out here but clearly bothered by something in his lower right leg.
- Lucas Patrick just moved TJ Slaton 5 yards down field. Patrick not going to give up that starting guard spot without a hell of a fight.
- End-around, pitch to MVS for 7.
- Drop by AJ Dillon on a swing pass in the flat. Two days in a row with a bad drop by Dillon.
- Rodgers puts it where only Marcedes Lewis can catch it near sideline and the wily vet does.
- Rodgers to Cobb over the middle again. Vet still knows how to get open.
- Lazard with a really nice contested catch over Josh Jackson down the left sideline on a comeback for a 1st down. Tipa tried the patented spin move on the play but Billy Turner just sat in his stance and stopped him with ease. Preston on the other hand, may have had a sack.
- Jake Hanson with maybe his best play I’ve seen as he picks up an Oren Burks blitz with ease.
- OL Cole Van Lanen getting some work with the second-team offense at LG. Has mostly been at tackle to this point.
- Love with a great find and throw on a deep crosser to Beggelton for about 20 yards on the right sideline. Vernon Scott nearest in coverage. Love has incredible synergy with Reggie Begelton.
- Rodgers just caught the defense subbing. Free play and a nice completion to Deguara over the middle for 15-20 yards. Vintage Aaron Rodgers.
- A big hug and pat on the helmet from Rodgers to rookie center Josh Myers after ones team period ends.
- Love finds Begelton along the sideline but couldn’t come down with a very tough falling sideline catch.
- Jordan Love finds a wide open Malik Taylor for a nice 53-yard TD on 3rd and 3 off a coverage bust. Looked like safety Christian Uphoff blew coverage.
- Going for 2 for the win. Looks like it was incomplete to Amari.
- Kylin Hill with a one handed catch from Rodgers with the ones in a two minute drill. Quickly gets up field for a nice gain. With Jones out, Kylin has been the 3rd down back of choice.
- Deguara with at least his third catch during team drills today. He’s having a really nice day.
- Safe to say the Randall Cobb-to-Elgton Jenkins lateral at the 35 did NOT work with no time left in two minute.
- Kevin King, Kamal Martin, Stanford Samuels, and Kingsley Keke are back.
- Eric Stokes still running with the 1s on Kevin King’s first day back.
- Dean Lowry comes up a bit gimpy following a run play inside. He jogs off to the side.
- No team drills for Kevin King on his first day back.
- Chauncey Rivers has been impressive in his first few days at camp. Sets the edge and stops Taylor for a 3 yard loss.
- Delontae Scott with a nice pressure working against Kelly. Benkert fires deep but too long for Thompkins.
- Eric Stokes with fantastic coverage on a comeback route from Funchess.
- Krys Barnes is undoubtedly playing much faster. Really nice toss play outside setup to Kylin Hill but Barnes gets to the sideline in a hurry for the stop at the line!!!
- Love throws deep to Taylor. Once again Stokes had fantastic coverage while Amos sprints over from center field to pick off the pass. If camp is any indication, Amos is in for a big year.
- Lowry is back and knifes through for a would be sack. Love throws anyway and Kylin Hill holds on for an impressive contested catch with Campbell in coverage.
- Benkert throws high for Begelton and that man Innis Gaines almost comes down with a diving INT.
- New OLB Chauncey Rivers having a day. Been in the backfield a bunch. At least two pressures and a TFL.
- Delontae Scott having a nice day as he busts through for a “sack”. Love chucks the ball out of bounds.
- Tipa Galeai is the backup long snapper, and he’s actually pretty good at it.

Press Conference Notes:
Matt LaFleur Presser
- LaFleur says yesterday's practice was designed to give veterans rest. The team will go longer today, close to 2 hours. Players who won't play Saturday will get "majority of reps" today.
- LaFleur: “Deguara looks fantastic. It looks like he picked up right where he left off ... he’s such a savvy, smart football player.”
- LaFleur says Jordan Love will have some card work going into Saturday's preseason opener vs. Texans, similar to a regular-season game. He has a good idea of what Texans might try to do. Knows it's a big debut for his young QB.
- LaFleur says he is willing to use starters on special teams in a "spot play" basis if it improves quality of those units, especially in coverage: "Whatever gives us the best opportunity to win games."
- TE Dominique Dafney was not ready for the offseason when it began: "They told us to take a couple weeks off, and if I'm being honest, I was back in the gym in five or six days." He's been training ever since.
- OL Royce Newman said he’s not cutting his hair until he’s done playing football. Maybe a slight trim in the back every once in awhile.
- On special teams: "We know we've been pretty much last the past few years, and we're working to change that." He says the ST units are going to be "more excited" this year.
- Deguara: It feels great to be back. Just being able to play football again, it's a great feeling, especially after that journey.
- TE Josiah Deguara on how he tore his ACL: "You get rolled up on a thousand times in this game -- and I've been rolled up on a thousand times in my career -- and it's just something that happened."..."I think deep down I did know. I didn't want to believe it, for sure." He said it was shocking, and he had to give himself time to be ticked about the injury before moving on. He started to move on after knee surgery.
- Josiah Deguara says he was "crushed" to see David Bakhtiari tear his ACL, but it's been beneficial to have partner to rehab with: "We've been pushing each other, he pushes me. He makes a lot of jokes in the training room."
- Deguara says it hasn't been determined if he'll play on Saturday. Will talk to medical staff.
