not only the trade - but drafting someone who also is going to go back to Europe for the next season. I know Giannis wanted Turner, but don't we need at least 1 more really good (doesn't have to be a superstar) player for them to really be competitive?
The guy they drafted might stay on roster for next season. Think it depends how he looks in the summer league.
i sort of agree with you, but how many times have we seen athletes declare that they want to stay with their current team, and then end up playing with someone else? maybe he's just saying what fans want to hear?
