Packers 2025-26 Season Thread

Long way to go with camp etc but Hardman has made some plays and he is a vet. I thought he was certain to be cut but i wonder if there’s a path for him

I still think he will be the return man. Nixon, Reed, Goldin, To much risk to have either of them return kicks

That's who I was thinking. Heath and Melton are meh. Melton so much he's been moved to CB. Probably keep 1 or 2 guys like Heath or another UDFA as a PS player.

Agree. I think they cut Heath and Melton because I doubt anyone picks them up. Both can be added to the practice squad. Keep Golden, Williams, Reed, Doubs, Wicks as your top-5 WR's. Hardman makes sense as the 6th WR and returner. The interesting cut will be when Watson comes off PUP.

As Bob McGinn always said, those “roster surplus” decisions almost always work themselves out due to injury.

Yep perhaps if Golden and/or Williams are playing well when Watson can return Doubs is a guy you trade before then for a pick or to add CB depth.
 
So if you are Gute come August and Shemar is not signed would you call Cincy and say would you trade him and if the say yes what would you give up? Would you be willing to send a 2nd round pick to them?

I still can’t get over what the Bengals are doing here.
 
Alexanders father claiming Jaire was not going to accept a reworked contract because the Packers were not willing to guarantee any money. Which the Packers should not have. Outside of his base salary which would be guaranteed week 1 why should have GB gave him any guarantees. That is what a incentive laden contract is about earning money back.
