I still think Rodgers told Adams how long he plans to play for and be it 1-2 years and that's part of why Adams turned down GB he rather be in Vegas then stuck in GB without Rodgers.

An old tree needs to fall in order for new trees to grow. Frankly this feels like a bit of fresh air. New talent, new vibes in the locker room, growth.

You still have #12 sitting in the corner like the godfather who runs the team and only will grant a favor on his daughters wedding day.

I seriously doubt that’s the case. He would have pocketed $20m on the tag if that’s the case

While Rodgers and Adams seemed to be tight and in alignment, this is a perfect example that players understand that this a business and they will 99% of the time look out for themselves. No way in hell does Adams have a better chance in Vegas to make a deep playoff run

Oh of course this was about money but if true GB offered the same it shows that GB has very little appeal to players.

Let’s be careful with “same” money. Was it guaranteed same money? Same APY?

And no, what it shows is that this is a business and players will take care of themselves first.
