Yeah and if you thought they were going to sign you and now you are a FA how would you feel? If I was a player and saw GB do this I would not trust GB to be truthful to me.

So yeah players and teams agree to deals all the time and then have the team not file the contract. You don't agree to deal to tell a guy to ok sit around and wait for us to call you when we get cap space So no I did not invent a stiatuion that did not happen it's common sense

You’re acting like they pulled the deal out from under him and walked away. That’s not what happened.
 
Fans act like oh we will extend Adams and Alexander. Why would those two sign unless they get their numbers? It's not like they will sign just to help GB out with the cap. They both want top dollar and will get it from someone else if not GB.

Then what did happen? If you agree to deal and then not file it before FA and let him become a FA how is this not pulling the deal from him? So he's supposed to sit around wait for GB to clear more cap?

Agreed to terms, tell the agent we’re submitting the contract tomorrow instead of today so we can make a couple cap moves. Why would they care?

Well they don't have cap space to submit the contract. Also need cap space for draft picks.
