Rodgers Wants Out

I don't kno how team could say ok we will let you walk in 2023. He won't resign you then say ok we are trading your ass
They have no recourse. Contract voids before league year starts so can’t be traded

The above was due to arrogance from the FO and to an extent ML, they were 100% they had a SB won with AR back and that group... thus they are so out of it they really think it again for a 3rd yr running.

Rather than "how can we add pieces" maybe by letting these 3 walk blah blah.... the way it's coming out is that they really think it's all about this core.

So if Aaron takes this route and they knew fully he could..and he is well within his rights to do so. It's not on AR it's on the dopes running the show.

If his contract voids and he becomes a FA in 2023 why would they not get a comp pick?
From what I can gather because his contract voids before league year begins its technically like being released per the CBA.

If they bring Aaron back "on the same contract," he'll get traded in Oct. Give love another offseason and a couple months of games, then pull the trigger.

Florio's latest.

"Rodgers isn’t deciding whether he’d like to see a menu; he’s got the thing open and he’s picking his meal. That reality makes the news that his people recently negotiated a short-term deal with the Packers even more sensible. Rodgers, we believe, currently knows the teams to which the Packers would trade him, the money he’d receive from each destination, the compensation the Packers would secure. It stands to reason that Rodgers also will know what the Packers will pay, if he stays."

He’s not getting traded in season and take a dead cap hit of about $25m…and he can’t get traded in 2023 due to his contract voiding before league year
