Rodgers Wants Out

I still feel He will go to Denver. He likley gets a much larger say in how things are run and his cowboy crap he likes to pull would be tolerated more.
Assuming he wants to play which is a big IF. Does he really think he can win in a conference with Allen, Mahomes and Herbert? Then throw in they play Rams, Seattle and Tennessee out of division. Good luck that

And let's not forget the WR room. Adams will be gone either way wanting to be NFL highest pd WR and believe everyone but A. Rodgers is unsigned.

I believe this is who he was referring to as a whole. So even if somehow they work out a deal to keep AR, who is he going to count on as his Go To WR? And this WR isn't like the last 2 years imo, so to count in a rookie is asking too much. Plus we pick at the end of the rounds not the the top which further pushes the odds against it

I too could see him retiring. Think the odds of him being traded are lessoning all the time and that he plays for GB or retires
True Rodgers won't like his security blanket being gone.

Does he want to try to win or just be in a city he wants to live in and get paid a big fat contract to be happy?

At least 50/50 he is back in GB next year if he plays. While possible he could retire , I think he plays a couple more years.

Don't forget Burrow.

I'm no expert, so feel free to correct. What if....

Rodgers days in GB are done. Dude says he intends to make a decision on retirement before free agency and hinted that it could be before a franchise tag decision on Adams has to be made. There may be good reason. Packers could then slap a non-exclusive franchise tag on Adams, allowing Adams to negotiate with other teams, and ensuring Packers two 1st round picks if they choose not to match. This is a package deal scenario keeping within NFL rules, yet allows Rodgers the ability to talk/negotiate with teams he's interested in being traded to per last year's Packers-Rodgers agreement, using Adams as incentive and guaranteeing the Packers at least two first round picks and getting out of cap hell. Could this have been set up between Pack and Rodgers? Or am I all wet and don't understand the rules?
