Or maybe the tea leaves inside the FO think that they can get more which begs the question of how flexible will they be or will ego get in the way and they think they can play hardball

WRONG! Demovsky lost his inside sources when MM/TT left..... he's been pissing in the wind since.
 
Kidding aside, apparently some wise guys are betting heavy on Rodgers playing in Denver next year. Take FWIW
