Whitney Merciless RETURNS to practice!

i'm not saying that i disagree with you, but the author of the story posted by nerd wrote: "Even though Mercilus only suited up in four games for the Packers, he did make a notable impact as a rotational pass-rusher, playing around 30 snaps per game. In that time, he recorded a sack and two quarterback hits, adding a pair of hurries as well."
Yeah well two of those were in garbage time, I think your playing with fire also removing pieces that helped you on a long winning streak, and adding back guys who haven't played in weeks. tc(

Set the edge.

Besides, Gilea and Garvin aren't ready yet. This dude can play.

So should they just leave all these guys on IR instead of bringing them back? Pretty much telling guys who were starters or contributing before injury that if you get injured in GB, you lose your spot and right to play? Cant say I agree with that.

I can flip that real easy.... almost none of them are responsible for getting GB to this point ...they busted their ass to win BUT today your going to say ...hey joe smoe who hasn't played in 10 weeks is back... thanks have a seat.

Sure they may all come in play on fire etc and win an SB BUT the point is your putting those guys who haven't played in 8-10 weeks back into a playoff environment and 100% expecting to play at a play off caliber level. IF it works fantastic but if not your leaving yourself as a coach and your staff under some serious scrutiny not to mention the guys who sat down.

Z Smith and Merciless I think would not get more then a handful of snaps in a game as they are not in game shape and would be more to give P Smith and Gary a rest. Those two are likely better then the backups we would put instead to give those two a rest.

I would take Zadarius and Winston over Tipa Galea, Garvin, Ty Summers and Oren Burks all put together.

I like Tipa and Garvin, Summers is usually in position, but damn. Maybe give Tipa a year in the weight room, Garvin a year of development. But right now? Gimme my boys.

These guys are veterans who know what it takes to be ready. Besides, it's not like they haven't had practice time.

These young guys have skills, but they haven't been around, don't have as much experience.

Barry's gonna have some unscouted looks in the playoffs, and not with scrubs on the field.
