I would think NLFPA would push guys to start to sign like cousins sign short term guarnteed deals as it becomes more of norm you can push for all to be guaranteed.
QB’s are the exception not the rule. Sure they would be as to teams it’s not optimal
 
Well owners have always been strong in CBA talks. When the players support idiots like Smith as president who can talk big but never deliver.
Smith is not the problem. It’s a nice narrative but it’s been that way for years until owners got smart. The vote is ultimately the players. And yes the player reps need to accept responsibility also

With cap going up every year if I were a player I would push for 2 year deals to have better chance at cashing in.

You’re not understanding his role. It’s as an advisor. The players hold the power. Same on the other side. Goodell is basically a figurehead. The owners hold the cards.

99% your not getting it. Push all you want but the teams leverage is to prorate for 5 years.
