I don't disagree but this is a labor dispute pure and simple. From a management perspective, you can't let Rodgers strong-arm you either. He's in a poor position to be dictating very much.
Frankly, he's under contract for 3 years and while you could argue he deserves more he's certainly not garnering any sympathy for being underpaid, etc. To be frank, he's losing support in the fan base by doing this....the longer it draws out the worse it will be. We don't really know exact specifics on his displeasure but I do know that he's not getting a lot of sympathy from former players and the current bunch is staying quiet which is also odd.
Bottomline I think there is a lot of blame on both sides of this deal and that no one will win in the end.
