Fine bad choice of words but talking to him about pick does not change how he reacts.
as they said in the beginning of the article, drafting love was gross mismanagement. i know you disagree, but i don't.

No. I said I have no issues drafting a QB last year. The trade up and who is my issue. The gross mismanagement happened 3 years prior not fixing a defense that cost then 2 SB trips

Honestly, if Rodgers is that insecure about losing his job to Love then he’s got some major mental problems. It’s not like they gave up their next 3 years of draft picks to get Love, and I don’t see any scenario where he gets beat out by Love in the near future.

If he’s suggesting the Packers haven’t done enough that’s difficult to understand as well. He basically got MM canned. Gute went out and spent huge money on Amos and the Smiths and they resigned Bak and Jones (among others). He’s been well taken care of financially.

Sometimes things just don’t work out the way you want them to. But to plant this news on draft day and show your displeasure on draft day and cause all the drama. I mean, what’s the upside?

you won't get any argument from me on that, but i fully agree with the article's premise that if you are managing a team that just came off a 13-3 season and a trip to the nfcc game, that is not the time to start using your top draft picks on guys that you don't plan to be using for a few years.

I don’t necessarily disagree with that but there was nobody in round 1 where they were that helps them beat Tampa. Not a fan in reality of the Dillion pick but that’s as much about the trade up that did not allow them ammo to move up.

We are going to hear more this talk for the next 3 months on what will happen

According to Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports, Rodgers won’t return to the Packers as long as Brian Gutekunst serves as the team’s General Manager. Rodgers is willing to consider “hardline options” to get what he wants, from skipping the entire offseason to holding out of training camp, to possibly retiring.

Robinson reports, citing an unnamed source in Rodgers’ camp, that a reconciliation may not be possible if Gutekunst continues to be the G.M. Also, Robinson reports that team CEO Mark Murphy is aware of Rodgers’ position on Gutekunst.

“The ball is in Mark’s court,” the unnamed source told Robinson.
