Fear the Deer

Bucks announced yesterday that Giannis' MRI revealed a minor joint capsule sprain. Bucks didn't announce any other injury and did call this minor, so this is good. Whew!

Giannis will be out tonight against Denver. His status for the big Celtics home game Thursday night is yet to be determined.

So it appears that Giannis avoided a significant injury. However, with their positioning in the standings, should the Bucks take a conservative approach with his recovery? I would not be surprised to see Giannis missing time to ensure he's 100% for the playoffs.

Yes this team lost to the Suns without Giannis without Giannis this team is a borderline playoff team at best.

The Bucks entered this game 5-1 on the season without Giannis. The Suns came out on fire and would've have beaten anyone. They came out and dropped 47 pts on the Bucks in the 1st quarter. In the 1st quarter they made their first seven shots - hitting their first four of the game from beyond the arc - and drained 9-of-14 threes in that quarter alone! Booker and Rubio were sizzling hot! The Bucks were never able to come back, but they came close - sort of.

Exactly...Suns shot 55% and also 44% from 3 for the game, happens. Doubt they win tonight either...no panic at all

I'm looking forward to a good game tonight against a tough Denver, even without Giannis. I want to see how Bledsoe and Middleton react to start the game after getting smashed in the mouth in the 1st quarter yesterday.

Its a bad matchup for Milwaukee especially last game on trip and end of back to back...and altitude...I had this as a schedule loss even with Giannis

imho, they should hold him out unless or until their #1 playoff seed is in jeopardy.

Yes, it is a tough match-up, especially being a back-to-back too after a loss! They've had few of those this year and that's why I think it will be a good game, plus to watch how Middleton and Bledsoe respond. I always like to watch how they respond when Giannis is out or having a bad game. This year has been much better after failing to do so last year, especially against Toronto.
