I get tired of hearing how the Packers are a "family," and his firing wasn't done in a family way.
McCarthy could be a good fit in Cleveland. He's not an idiot. His program became stale in GB. That's what ended it. Sometimes you end up with sacred cows that you dare not move or you're in trouble. Rodgers helped make it even worse because of his attitude. I wish Mike well.
That said, divorce is rarely amicable. Whether it was now, or at the end of the season doesn't really matter. For McCarthy, it's an opportunity to hook up early with someone, or at least have him being on the radar, if someone is interested.
Time to move on and enjoy seeing how things play out the rest of this year, and what the future holds. At least it isn't going to be as boring as going down on main street when it's raining, and watching the cars rust.
