I start of by saying I don't think this is a 2 or 3 yr rebuild. Teams rise and fall quick in this league. ask philly. add the right guys and we can compete again.

Fire Mac

The day the season ends is the day the packers say goodbye to Mac. He won us a ring but this scheme was went stale and I think he lost his qb and team

Hire

John Defilippo

pluck this guy from a hated enemy. His O won a superbowl with a backup. He would do wonders with AR and get this O firing again. Young guy that would bring some passion back to the packers

Gone
CM3
Cobb
Ryan
Lewis
Wilk

Extend
Clark. Pay the man!! hes a blue

FA

Earl Thomas FS

Thomas should have plenty still left in the tank. He was still playing as a top FS before he went down. He comes to GB with a lot to prove and wants a ring.

Rodger Saffold OG

Our OL needs to add talent. Saffold is grading out this yr as one of the best running blocking guards in the league. Hes 30 but like Thomas hasn't shown any signs of slowing down. we need starters on the ol. Let young kids groom behind this guys.

Brandon Graham. pass rusher

Yep 3 starts in FA. we have the money and its time to make a push. Graham isn't young either but he has been one of the most productive pass rushers of the last 5 yrs. He is always in the backfield getting pressure. Can line up all over the place. Dude is a monster. would bring what mack is doing for the bares.

The more I see of this dude the bigger my draft crush gets. He is my fav player in the draft at this point. He has all the tools to lead the league in sacks. His spin move looks like Freeney. Just oozing talent.

1b Al Okwnegbonam TE Mizz

Its time to find a long term answer at TE. In a league that doesn't have a ton of game changing TEs at the moment this guy is a star in the making. Big play ability and he will block a little. Give him some time with Jimmy.

2 Dalton Risner OL K State.

Hes on a garbage team but hes a bright spot. 4 yr starter at both cente (freshman all American) and tackle. Solid both in the run and pass pro. This is a packer type lineman and is the future at RT

heres a nice breakdown of Risner against Sweat

3 Jalen Jelks OLB Or

might not have the big numbers but the physical traits are there. He is playing freaking nose tackle but should be standing up at olb. basketball type body at 6'6 245. Can never have enough young pass rushers and this the draft to get 2 good ones

4 Javon Kinlaw DL USC

Once a position of strength, a few injuries and the DL is looking rough. Clark is an beast and will get paid like one, so we need to be ready to replace Daniels in a few yrs. Kinlaw is a cut up 305 pounder. While he is a little raw he gets off the ball like a man half his size. Could have the biggest upside of any prospect in this draft. Idk if he will last this long after ppl see him at the combine but a steal if on the board

4 John Abram S Miss St

I watched him play 2 weeks ago and hes was all over the field making plays. The announcers were high on his leadership skills he was shown this season. Played as a freshman at UGA then was a top JCO prospect. not afraid of contact

5 Nygwan Murray WR FSU

The small quick slot guy that can take over for Cobb. I love the direction or WR group is going but we lack the small slot guy

6 Ben Powers OG OKL

More much needed bodies to the OL. Just a depth guy at this point but that is needed also

6 Alec Eberle C FSU

double dip in the 6th at OL. Team leader.

E.J. Ejiya ILB UNT

small school tackling machine. nice size and more athletic then Ryan.

If Gary is there for our 1st pick sprint to podium with his name on the card...or Devin White

I take polite over Gary all day everyday. Gary is overrated imo. White is awesome... I would have no problem with that but Polite is still my guy. I think hes going to be a top pass rusher in the league.

White is on the smaller then ideal size. However he's a playmaker and team leader. Think he's the one drawing comparisons to Bobby Wagner

white has good size for an ilb. most have him at 6 foot to 6'2" all around 240. Hes bigger and imo better then smith from last yr. I do agree he makes plays and is that leader in the middle. another nice ilb to check out is Khalil Hodge. a little smaller then White but he is a tackling machine

Well explained perspectives. I don't want Defilippo, not sure he has the personality to reign in Rodgers. Like the positions you adressed with FA (S, OG, DE). Not as high on Polite as you are and since you signed a pass rusher I'd rather see DL in that first pick to line up next to Clark. (would like Wilk back one more year- he should be very affordable). I would not take a TE in the first round, they take a couple years to develop and we need more immediate return on a first rounder. But I like it overall.
Still hoping Grant Delpit (S LSU) declares for the draft. He would be my main objective with the first pick.

That's what everyone thought about Terrell Edmunds/Derwin James being on the board at 14 this past draft.
