Packers trade quarterback Brett Hundley to Seattle Seahawks

IMO came down to this Hundley is a FA after season. Kizer and Boyle both have time left on contract beyond this season so they were both worth keep and seeing if you can develop them over Hundley because Hundley was not coming back after this year.

If you believe what Cohen tweeted the team was afraid Boyle would not clear waivers. So showcase a guy you wanted to move.

Ya most people would think that way ... Makes sense. But this is MM we're talking about

Guys on radio were talking about this yesterday. Feeling from one reporter was that they would go with Kizer and Boyle because you have control of both for several years.

I doubt Hundley will end up making their team to be honest. If he does, I'll be surprised. At least we don't have to fear going into the season with him on the sideline. I do hope they save three, so Boyle stays on the team. I think he could be better than Kizer next year. If not, Kizer will also be better.

He’s an upgrade over what they have now and I’m saying that with a straight face

Since MM, Ball and Gute report to Murphy, I can't see this happening if MM wasn't in agreement. Otherwise we would have a happy little family.

Surprised they got anything for him. Kizer is younger with more upside, a better arm, and a longer contract. If Rodgers is out an extended time we're done anyways.

Majority rules Ball and Gute approved trade MM did not but 2 out of 3 or Gute traded him when MM was still at the feeding trough?
