Packers 2026/27 Season Thread

Cox was much, much better with his hand down than standing up at UGA. I can't speak for his time as a Gator.
At Florida he played the buck/jack position, which I gather is some sort of hybrid stand up/hand down edge player. I defer to you on that. Many scouting reports had him as a 3-4 edge fit. All I know is he's then only guy I've seen on the roster who can turn a corner besides Parsons, and I think he'll find a way to be impactful.

The thing I will note about ML - he is not hung up on pure scheme. He likes players and skill sets and wants coaches to find ways to use them. Seen it over and over with him. Don't shoot the messenger, after 7 years it's the pattern. IMG_3426.jpegIMG_3427.jpeg

if you want to bring in a proven veteran receiver that would be a #3 or #4 in your depth chart and would only cost a couple million bucks (according to spotrac), one that you might consider is juju smith-schuster. he's still available. his production went down significantly in 2025, but i think part of that was the chiefs just sort of phased him out and part of it was just that the chiefs sucked last year. he actually had the highest catch % on the team. he can still produce, and he'd provide veteran depth.

Good thought, I think someone like him should be considered after the draft and June cuts

Remember the Packers do have Skyy Moore who was a former 1st round pick.

Right now outside of adding one WR in the draft I think GB's depth chart is full.

Watson, Golden, Reed, Williams, Moore, Melton. Add in a draft pick and you got 7 guys there

one injury could change all of that. and i'm not sure i would count melton as a wr.
