Packers 2025-26 Season Thread

ML is obviously a very successful coach but it really frustrates me that he is so unbending on scheme versus skill. Kraft is a great player. Golden is a great player. ML will not bend schematically to feature and feed these guys. Kind of maddening to see these guys not allowed to take off and flourish.

Is it MLF not adjusting his scheme or is it our OL being so bad that Kraft is forced in to stay and block due to him being so good at it and for Golden the OL not blocking long enough to allow plays to develop before they break down and Love has to just try to make something happen?

Coach addressed this directly. He said scheme doesn't allow for guys to be featured and he's not changing it to do so.

Looking at the Packers remaining games a 6-6 finish is possible and I don't think a 9-7-1 gets you into the post season.

Aaron Rodgers complained about field in Pitt saying it was borderline unplayable and kicker slipped while trying a FG and ST player got hurt on field. After the game grounds crew were removing the field and resodding. Pitt will play at home again against GB in a couple weeks. Hopefully the field is in good shape by then.

It's pretty crazy, watch the video of that kicker, he's kicking up sand. Haven't seen that since the days when they'd play at the Oakland A's stadium

You can get mad all you want, but as a coach, that's a huge no-no. If you're a hot RB, I might feed you the ball more, but you live and die on your scheme principles. When monkeying with them like Brian C did to appease Cam Ward, you get shitcanned.

Your base... you live and die by it.

Also, the Golden thing is pure unadulterated horse manure...he wasn't getting open early in the season. If Love forces and throws picks people bitch... if he doesn't feed him enough people bitch FP(

On Kraft he's our best blocker, in both in pass pro and as an H-back..... see our OL can't block its own shadow for reference.
