Post Game Browns Beat Green Bay 13-10

Both the Lions and Washington were run blitzing like crazy, GB did fantastic picking it up and Love was clean.
okay, i have heard love's explanation for the interception. i have heard ml's explanation. i have read mark's explanation. i understand it all. but all this talk about how bad the ol was and how that factored into the interception . . .

this image is from just after the ball left love's hand:

that looks like a pretty clean pocket to me. it may not have factored into the outcome of the play, but to my completely untrained eyes, it seems like he rushed the throw (needlessly), and when you see where the ball ended up in relation to the packers receivers, it's even more baffling.

there are two cleveland players in position to catch that pass, and no packers within five yards of where the ball ends up.

i'm not saying people are making excuses for love, but to me it just seems very puzzling. mark, please don't chew me out for ignoring your posts on the subject. i read them, and i understood them. perhaps my eyes deceive me.

Throw was low, Wicks was going to need to pluck it off the turf. Ironically he may have driven it low to try to prevent a pick. On to Dallas.

Same old song and dance as every year. GB can’t find a good combination for the OL and the team is wildly inconsistent and can’t consistently bring energy.

That was only week 3 though. Even the Bears beat Dallas so next week should be good.

What you see is what you get when your FO consistently makes the team one of the youngest in the league. No consistency, immature players, and lack of cohesion.

Starting to wonder if it's safe to say Hooper is bust. Only played 3 snaps on defense yesterday. 2nd year and he still can't find a way onto the field outside of ST's. 3rd round pick that almost all sites had going as a 5th or 6th round pick. Have no idea what Gute saw in this guy to take him and can't even get rotation snaps with McDuffie.

If that 1.99 number is true it’s a travesty. And it also means that Love was having an even better game than I thought until the pick.

Yep there is no time to throw a ball in under 2 seconds. Even Tom Brady who was thought to have one of the quickest release times was about 2.5 seconds.

If you’re getting pressure in your face in under two seconds you can’t do much. No play action, no deep shots, no ability to plant your feet. There’s no quick game when they’re playing tight man coverage and know the ball has to come out quick.

Just a disappointing performance up front from the get go. Effectively everything that the GB defense did to the Lions and Washington, Cleveland did to us.

Funny thing is Peter tweets this out but yet defends the OL saying we have a good OL and said our OL has the best depth in the NFL.

Except if he's throwing a timing route then and has pressure in under 2 then find me a QB who completes it? I put his struggles at the feet of the OL which also couldn't run block. Impossible.
