Yeah NFL will allow 2 players to be put on the IR to return on final cutdown. Though only 2 any more is final IR. Not sure on how bad Anderson knee is but sure seems like Brown could be done with his lung issue.

Just some guesses here. Injuries in the next week could change some things as well. Not 100% sure on the PUP/IR rules. I think a couple of positions could see fresh additions to the 53 after final cutdowns - most likely at OL and CB. Plus, there will likely be a handful of outside additions to the PS.
 
I'm curious about the DL and the LBs. Can they actually afford to keep 6 DL plus both Simmons and Welch? Both Simmons and Welch have been starters on all ST units, but when it comes to non-ST, Simmons is one of the worst players I have ever seen. Can they afford to keep him just for teams? Stackhouse is the opposite, can they afford to carry him as a 6th DL when he doesn’t do anything on teams?

no way i would cut stackhouse or welch tbh. if we can only keep two of the three, the choice is easy for me. i agree that simmons appears to be a liability on defense.

Stackhouse is a guy who won't make it thru waivers. I dump Wooden first. 2 years in GB and 1/2 sack in his career.

Every team has guys they think this about. I can’t believe Stackhouse wasn’t drafted and he’s a steal as a UDFA but it hasn’t all been good with him. I would try to trade one of either Wooden or Brooks and then I think the numbers work a little better.

Flip Wooden to a team that is short a DL but has a extra OL they won't keep. GB OL after 7 sucks and no one is worth keeping. I am sure other teams have good OL depth and can't keep them all.

We might actually be 5 deep at OL, I don’t know about this Banks character. I need to see him actually play a game first.
