I know he's not on our team anymore but I was in favor of keeping him, for no other reason than we were (and are) so thin at corner. It's possible though that he's so worn down at this point you can't reliably game plan with him.

He may play in, 6 games, max...but he won't play on a consistent basis. The knee is most likely done. When it's retaining fluid like that, its not good

People crying that GB needs to trade for Trey Hendrickson.

Right here is why it won't happen. The sticking point remains the guaranteed money in a potential extension, with Cincinnati's stance on not providing secured salary after the first season leaving progress at a standstill.

GB is known for giving out it's guaranteed money thru a SB. Hendrickson wants guaranteed money past year one. GB does not do that outside of paying QBs.

So there is no way GB will trade for him with Hendrickson demands for guaranteed money past year one.

I get the impression that Ben Johnson would actually prefer to work with this guy as QB1 than Caleb. We will see.

Caleb has some talent, but Bagent appears to be smarter and more coachable.
