Brewers 2025 Season Thread

Brandon Woodruff back on the mound today for the Brewers. Same place where he hurt his arm a couple of years ago. I believe. Great showing going 6 innings and giving up 1 run on 2 hits with 8 KO's. Nice to see him back and pitching well. With Woody, Peralta, Miz, Priester, and Quintana they have a solid group of starters to hopefully finish the season strong and get them back to the playoffs.

Was very impressed with how Woodruff looked today. Cortes is also working thru rehab and could be back after the all-star break meaning the Brewers will have SP to trade to look for bullpen and hitting help at the trade deadline.

Brewers need to just admit Joey Ortiz is trash and send him to the minors. How many times will he come to the plate with the bases loaded and be a guaranteed out.

Brewers have won 5 in a row and now with 2 games left before the All-Star break sit one game behind the Chicago Cubs for first place in the NL Central.

big turnaround from how the season started. the bats are hotter and they finally have some decent pitching. i hope they can keep it up in the second half of the season.

The Brewers just keep finding a way to win, even with patchwork line-ups. They now have the third best record in the NL and the #1 wildcard spot, one game behind the Cubs in the Central. With the way they've been going it's almost a shame they are hitting the break right now.

Miz looked good in the all-star game last night. Half his pitches were over 100 mph.

It was the SD pitchers that were the ones who looked like they did not belong. Both SD pitchers in the game pitched poorly and gave up runs. Though did not watch the end how strange that it was tied so they go to a home run derby to get a winner.
