2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay

Mark Murphy said. “It looks like a great setup. All fans and attendees will be treated to an exciting event, and we’re proud to have Lambeau Field featured so prominently.”
I don't think Lambeau is big enough to hold the draft inside . . . they always set up their theatre in an open area. That said, the excitement from Murphy and others seems a bit lame to me . . .the set up sounds "meh".

i thought they were going to have the draft inside lambeau. wrong. it's going to be in the parking lot. yay. welcome to historic lambeau field. hope you like our parking lot.
To small to fit the stage they set up inside Lambeau.

When you pan out from the stage, a lot of these set-ups are "meh". Look at the pictures from Detroit. They plunked a stage down somewhere in downtown and the crowd snaked around the various skyscrapers and streets. Nothing about that screams "football".

Kinda the same thing in Nashville. Yes, that draft had some amazing crowd energy, but there too, the stage was just plunked down in a well known city location. Having the iconic Lambeau facade in many of the background shots will make it a different experience for fans and viewers.

If the Packers want it to be a great event, they have to hope for 1 of 2 things, a 32 degree day with some light snow or the rare (in April) 65 degree day with sunshine. That will add some crowd energy. The worst would be a brutal cold snap or a lengthy rainstorm. Of course in Wisconsin any or all of those could happen over the course of 3 days.

Saw a post that as of today every NFL team owns it's own 1st round pick. The first time since the merger that has happened this late.
