2025 Draft Prospects Thread

To be honest it'skind of a joke anymore because they have all these metrics before the combine most of the time. Most teams use the senior bowl and other factors anyway. If a player asked me I would advise against attending the combine...risk/reward isn't worth it anymore.
If you are not a 1st or 2nd round pick though would it not be best to do it try to help draft stock?

every year we see at least a couple players who climb up higher on the big boards after a great performance at the combine, and at least a few others who drop because of a not-so-good performance. i think the combine still has some value, but maybe not so much for the guys that are projected as rounds 1-2. for them it's all risk, with little reward.

Former WI Badgers Chimere Dike ran the 2nd fastest 40 time for a WR at a 4.34.

Gute wasted a pick on a OC in round 2 he should get fired.

I think many draft prospects don't do the drills because it then gives teams a "consistent" measurement with them and other players. If they do them separately, and can try to control the workout. You're not going to get injured doing drills, so Im thinking they don't want to run drills alongside others at their position, for fear of having their weaknesses exposed.
