Postgame Thread, GB edges out Cleveland for a Christmas Day win.

I think the coaches decided they didn't want to risk Rodgers toe injury any more than necessary after they built up a lead they felt they could hold. The problem is, our defense isn't really that great. They look greater than they are because Rodgers usually keeps the offense on the field, ringing up minutes that stops the opposition from scoring.

Of course Rodgers wants to compete, and wouldn't like that plan. In this case, he's probably right. They darned near coasted to a loss, when they took their foot off the gas.

Rodgers said in the post game interview that he wasn’t happy that they went conservative in the 4th quarter.

Translation: the coach took his foot off the gas.
ML does not seem to have that killer insticnt him to go for the throat

Personally I thought he did the right thing. Clock was your friend, Chubb running was the only offense they had and not sure 12 was healthy. More feel of the game
I don't think even LeFleur would agree with you at this time. It got a little too tight for comfort. The Packers were lucky it didn't backfire on them.

Possible. The only WR who made a play was 17. Rodgers was not real mobile yesterday. I get why people wanted to be more aggressive

I thought the should have not been running Jones late should have been pounding with Dillon.

Well on the last FG drive Rodgers threw it 4x Dillion with 2 rushes. At 24-15 and with the ball they had 3rd and 2 and could not execute. And 2nd and 3. Yeah Dillon there maybe made sense but Jones also ripped off a 7 yd run.

4 to 2 pass run ratio is not overly conservative

Any thoughts on Stokes so far?

I think he has trouble adjusting to deep balls sometimes but has the speed to cover alot of WRs. Overall I would say we cannot complain too much with what the rookie has done. Especially, if he takes a jump next year.

Someone is coaching him because he's playing better than in college, still, he'll have some rough patches at times. Rookie.
