The above is ugly....very ugly
Well the Packers folded they should have told Rodgers play out your contract or retire we are not going to screw our cap just so your ego can be stroked that you are the highest paid player in the NFL.
 
I fear there’s some good talent on this team that they will trade or let walk at the end of their contracts because of AR’s contract.
Amos is one name that comes to mind.
Runyan is another.
They are going to have to dump Bak, massage Jaire’s 23’ roster bonus, and get creative with an extension to Jenkins.
Also can’t forget the 5th yr options they’ve committed to for Gary and Savage, and what about Love?
They’ve created a real salary cap dumpster fire with Rodgers extension.
I wouldn’t want to be Russ Ball for the foreseeable near future.
 
When Rodgers leaves, the Packers are going to have to dump a lot of contracts, and eat the losses. It's going to be a question of how close to the top of the draft list they'll be for at least a couple of years.
