Goaltender Kennedy Blair transferring to Badgers women's hockey team

NoDak cutting women's hockey is one of the biggest travesties in the sport.

Anyway

Blair is a 5'6" native of Bismarck, ND, who started 29 of Mercyhurst's 34 games last season, and the Lady Lakers went 17-8-3 in those contests.

She sported a 92.1% save%, gave up 1.98 gaa, and the most goals in a game was when the Lady Lakers were overwhelmed by then #4 Cornell 2-6 (she was not between the pipes for the 3-8 loss to Syracuse the next weekend). Blair did post 5 shutouts with back to back donuts in late February. She netminded MU to a #10 finish, regular-season and tournament CHA champions, and that got them the last spot in the NCAA tourney where a rematch with then-#1 Cornell was on the books before the season was cancelled, leaving YOUR Wisconsin Badgers as the defending champions.

She will likely have to compete for the starting job to, coincidentally, replace Kristen Campbell whose collegiate career also started at NoDak, though the competition on the current roster has seen a total of 5 games of action. I am not sure of any incoming goalies.
