One Packer is hitting the links, another switched agents before a big payday, and we look at this date in Green Bay's history.

The Green Bay Packers are off on their own as the offseason is in full swing, and for one Packer that means swinging some golf clubs. Aaron Rodgers is hitting the links this weekend in a pro-am tournament, and he's matched up with a fellow NFL player who dealt a death blow to the Packers' season.

Also in the news today is former Packers coach Kevin Greene, who is hoping to return to coaching, and some mock draft and free agency items of interest.

Finally, today marks the anniversary of a major turning point for the Packers' franchise. It's all here in today's cheese curds!

Rodgers is apparently good to go to compete - at least on the fairway. He'll be part of a foursome with the man who almost singlehandedly ended Rodgers' season: Cardinals wideout Larry Fitzgerald.

Hayward switched representation just before hitting free agency, and his new agent also represents two other defensive backs in Green Bay.

It turns out that the family reasons Greene cited when he walked away from the Packers two years ago involved his high school-aged son, who wanted his dad to coach him like he was coaching his pro linebackers. Now that the younger Greene is headed off to college, it's the right time for Greene to return.

SI's Chris Burke (not to be confused with APC's Kris Burke) projects Georgia OLB Leonard Floyd to the Packers at 27 and sees Ohio State TE Nick Vannett as Green Bay's second-round pick.

Phillips' game plan was risky, but his players executed it brillantly en route to the win on Sunday. Denver's defense forced the Panthers to rely on their wide receivers in order to win, exposing that unit as being limited and unproductive.

For the final curd today, we look back in time 24 years to find the day on which a certain quarterback arrived in Green Bay:

Looks like an early morning shot and it can be cool. Looks like he's got some extra layers on to stay warm.

Aaron Rodgers and his pro partner Jerry Kelly from Madison missed the cut at Pebble Beach.

I wonder where Greene will end up...

This year no where as I think most teams have their staffs set. If he wants to get back into coaching he will need to have his agent making calls come December and January when staffs start chaning up agian.
