Alex Van Pelt is the latest member of the Green Bay staff to fuel up the hype train.

We've heard it before about a certain young receiver for the Green Bay Packers. He's coming on. He is improving in practice. He is poised for a breakout. Something feels a little different this time, however, about the comments surrounding Jeff Janis.

Not only do the depth chart and injury situation bode well for his chances at earning more snaps on offense, but the praise is coming from different sources, namely his position coach. With his draft-mate back on the field this week, Janis and Jared Abbrederis may split some time at receiver, but both should be able to contribute against Detroit tomorrow night.

Meanwhile, the Packers' defensive leader has traded in big plays in one category for another, less-flashy one, but he's learning to appreciate that part of his new role. It's all there in today's curds.

Meanwhile, Van Pelt said that Adams is "struggling" to run with the ankle issue he has dealt with all season, and that he's "toughing it out." The position coach also says that the second-year wideout just needs to hit "the reset button and (come) out fresh."

Between his tenures in Carolina, Chicago, and Green Bay, Julius Peppers averages nearly one sack per game and a forced fumble every other.

2016 NFL Draft order and needs: Playoff teams - NFL.com
The Packers currently slot in at 24th, and to nobody's surprise they will need to improve a pass rush. Once again, Shilique Calhoun of Michigan State is mentioned, but Jordan Jenkins from Georgia might be a good fit there.
