Carlos Gomez wants to retire a Brewer

Not surprising. The Brewers were his team during his breakthrough. I think he appreciates the fact that the Brewers let him do his thing instead of changing him. The Mets and Twins gave up on him because they wanted him to be a ground-ball, contact type hitter. It didn't work. The Brewers let him do what he does and let him be himself, both as a player on the field and in the clubhouse.
 
I'd like to see Gomez back in Center Field in mke again. Always a fan fave.
