I think it’s too late for this year, and other schools would have to have roster capacity for them and at this late point that’s unlikely. The next 4-5 years are going to be challenge for scholarships and roster spots without relief for any schools who don’t have at least a half season this year.

I honestly don’t think transfers are going to be much an issue even past this year. The NCAA is not going to make unilateral scholarship limits when 3 P5 conferences are playing. To me the immediate concern would be opt outs and even then that’s with the assumption spring happens. Even opt outs carry a risk, agents are not going to pop for end workout expenses and other cost unless it’s it’s a 1st round guy. To much risk this year due to time between opt out and draft.
