Aaron Rodgers not consulted on Packers' QB coaching change

Yeah, IMO it's another example of him being refreshingly candid. He got his job because GB forced their aging, HOF, face of the franchise QB out the door. How can he NOT think about, indeed assume, that the same will happen to him at some point. I don't think he's going anywhere any time soon, and I don't think he does either. GB's goal will be to have him long enough to get all of his best years out of him; his goal will be to get out while he still has something left when they start to develop a replacement. That'll be the part of the dance with his next contract.
 
I don't take much of anything from the comment about not finishing in GB. I think as above that it's simply a case of him being honest. He seemed to be saying that if a Packer legend like BF didn't finish with his team, he might not either.

I try not to read into much of anything that happens in these off-season interviews.
