2023 Badger Football Thread

Locke is a pretty darned good pro style QB from what I gather. Watched some of his clips, from HS, and he can throw the football. He comes from a high school with a good coach, and program, down here in Texas. They turn out some decent players who go on and play DI football.

I smile.... a 4-star kid from Texas. A skills player! Yippee - yi - yo, Mxxxxx Fxxxxx! (Using my best Bruce Willis voice)

To your point …second portal window is May 1-15. Fall semester probably irrelevant

Yeah Mark was posting on him visting UW. But that's 1 of a few WR UW needs to pickup for the Air Raid Offense

Nathanial Vakos | Kohl's Professional Camps

We recently saw Vakos at the Underclassman Challenge and a May 2021 Showcase. He has attended multiple Kohl's events and has shown progress over his time. Longo realizes that the Air Raid offense is not as effective as it can be, if it's a committed passing offense. The mix between pass and run is intended to continuously keep defenses off balance, not knowing which will be done, from any given offensive formation.

If you look at the direction they've gone, with offensive linemen, you see that they are still going with the huge offensive linemen, and will employ a lot of inside zone runs within their system.

I don't think any of us believed for a moment it was going to become an aerial circus.
