High School Accolades: Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl, 2015 Missouri Class 6 All-State (RB by Media & Coaches)

Video Proof:

Our View: Wisconsin simply isn’t supposed to get this kind of athlete. A quick look at film from both his junior and senior seasons makes it easy to see he is on another level compared to other offensive skill players that UW has recruited. In fact, he may be the best overall athlete Wisconsin recruited since Melvin Gordon.

He’ll play wide receiver to start in college, but don’t be surprised to see him play a Randall Cobb-like role. That means you can expect to see him line up in many different positions across the Badgers’ offense.

Putting a player like him with a coach who can use elite athletes unlike any other coach in Wisconsin history (look what Chryst did to the career of Russell Wilson), should have fans eager to see what happens with Taylor. So should the fact that he finished his high school career by rushing for 335 yards on 35 carries and added three touchdowns on the ground — in just one game.

Taylor is going to impact the Badgers one way or another from the second he steps on campus this summer.
