Numbers of experienced receivers who will fit the system. Since he'll often put 4 receivers in the game, you need to have a well stocked shelf.

Longo made a comment today / yesterday that he would like 11 on the roster and keep guys fresh over 12 games.
 
Wisconsin football coach Luke Fickell is set to add his sixth assistant.

A source confirmed Thursday that Greg Scruggs is set to become UW’s defensive line coach.

FootballScoop first reported the impending hire.

Scruggs replaces Ross Kolodziej, who coached UW's defensive line for the past two seasons. Kolodziej was named defensive line coach at Stanford last month.

Scruggs, 32, played at St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati and was on Fickell's staff at Cincinnati from as director of player development in 2018 and '19 and as defensive line coach in 2020 and '21.

He was the assistant defensive line coach for the New York Jets this season.

A defensive lineman at Louisville, Scruggs played in the NFL from 2012-16 with Seattle, Chicago and New England.

Scruggs joins offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Phil Longo, defensive coordinator/inside linebackers coach Mike Tressel, offensive line coach Jack Bicknell Jr., tight ends coach/passing game coordinator Gino Guidugli and associate head coach/wide receivers coach Mike Brown.

I could be mistaken but i thought Turner was retained, not sure at what level
 
Here's a list of coaches to this point. It looks like there are several openings left. Nothing mentioned about who's running scouting, etc.

C.J. Williams will raise the needle on where we "rank" in the signing game for this year. I think that #60 ranking is a total joke.
