As the last of your 6th round picks it's essentially an UDFA anyway. But still.. I wonder what it was about this guy that caught the scouts eye.
 
stupid waste of a pick. yeah, it's 6th round, but c'mon. if you're going to draft a tight end, at least draft one who appears to be a good fit for your team. ben koyak was still available when we made this pick. koyak was projected as a fifth round pick. he's taller, faster, and known to be an excellent blocker (both run and pass blocking). and he played at a better school against better competition. i'm sorry, but this is just a dumb dumb pick.
