Van Lanen. The new Tauscher? Fingers crossed. But, a Guard, not tackle.

He's going to be ready to pop some pads when he hits camp. Hell! His workouts can be at Lambeau if he decides to spend his time in GB. I want to see him make it. I like that Home Town Boy scenario playing out when it can.

Fingers crossed!

I think he might be a longshot to make the team and more likely a guy who ends up on the PS.

Nice!! I had him mocked to the Packers in Rd. 6

I'd love to see him make it as well. Was a little odd at UW that he didn't really seem to make the jump after his sophomore year. Hopefully he at least makes the practice squad and gets a chance to develop and provide some depth going forward.

Green Bay native Cole Van Lanen said #Packers' call, from a familiar 920 number, came up as "scam likely" on his phone. It wasn't scam, of course. "I saw it was a Green Bay number, answered it, and I just couldn't believe it was Brian Gutekunst and Matt LaFleur."
