it appears to be a really good selection, and I think the reason why they chose to not trade down. Most mocks / rankings had him in the 10-15 range, and he was there at #23 which was too good to "pass" on.

Plus it puts all those other guys on notice. The ones who didn’t exactly step up when they had the chance.

There won’t be a storm or anything with Watson. He hasn’t been healthy enough to earn a big contract. If he tries to get too much he’s gone.

They have given him every chance possible to take a #1 WR spot - but he's never been able to do it consistently.
