The Battle 4 Atlantis continues to be kind to the Wisconsin Badgers, as they used a big second half push to take out the Oklahoma Sooners 78-58. Oklahoma used two bigs to stifle Ethan Happ for most of the game, but the rest of the Badgers were up to the task. For the third time in five games, sophomore guard D’Mitrik Trice earned a career high in points, putting up 25 in the win.

Trice is a whole different guy than before. I wasn't so sure he was the answer at PG when he first arrived. He could shoot a little but even that tailed of the second half of his freshman season.

He's still not the greatest facilitator but he's stronger, more confident, and a better shooter than he was when he arrived. He has the chance to be a solid PG for the next few years. The team looks much better this year with Davison at his more natural SG spot.

The game today against Virginia will be a nice measuring stick sort of contest early in the season. I think UW could be a team that would be ranked somewhere in the 20-30 range when all is said and done. With no major injuries, I think they should make the tourney this year.
