The latest on the Badgers' recruiting efforts as mid-June hits.

The weekend kicked off with Wisconsin making the top 10 of four-star cornerback David Long, Jr. Long tweeted a great explanation with his list, just in case you were trying to draw inferences from the list.

There hasn't been much talk tying the Badgers to the sixth-ranked cornerback in the nation, but Long doesn't seem to be too heavily leaning one way. A trip to Madison would be a big step for the Badgers if Long is still considering following the bright shining light of the moon come fall.

Just last week, the Badgers made the top 10 of four-star cornerback/wide receiver Trevon Sidney, though USC seems to be the favorite in that process.

Badgers offer pair of three-star linebackers

Wisconsin is now on the board as offers for Dallas Jeanty (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) and Stephen Moye (Lilburn, Ga.).

Both are listed as three-star recruits; Jeanty as a middle linebacker, Moye as an outside linebacker. Wisconsin joins 29 other offering schools in the running for Jeanty, while Moye's other top offers are from Vanderbilt and Virginia to go along with Georgia State, Appalachian State and Buffalo.

With outside linebacker Mason Stokke committed and offers to linebackers Koby Quansah, Keith Simms, Noah Burks, Caleb Kelly and Jeffrey McCulloch on the table, Jeanty and Moye crowd the linebacker picture -- although at middle linebacker, the Badgers' class is much less busy.

The Badgers also have offered the Katy, Texas, trio of linebacker Paddy Fisher and safeties Collin Wilder and Travis Whillock. The safety picture could be even more crowded than at linebacker, resulting in the moves of one of those two safeties into the box.

Speaking of the Katy trio...

Wisconsin had Fisher, Wilder and Whillock all on campus together for a two-day visit.

247Sports' Evan Flood talked to Wilder, and the three-star safety had good things to say ($).

Update on Antonio Williams' visit

The four-star running back commit visited Madison with his family this weekend. Flood reported that the fifth-ranked running back nationally stands even more committed to Wisconsin than he was before... if that's possible ($).

This is good. This is very good.

Remember, Badgers fans, if the mid-June recruiting freak-out hits you, worry not. Wisconsin has a running back, and everything else will fall into place.
