Could the Badgers land the No. 1 high-school prospect in Missouri, and what would an SEC offer do to the commitment of a current Badgers verbal?

Saturday could continue the trend of recent, positive recruiting news for Wisconsin Badgers football heading into August (yes, outside of the Jordan Stevenson news but also including the Kellen Jones transfer). That, and quite a few recruits reportedly have set their official dates to visit Madison this upcoming season.

A.J. Taylor set to announce

Kansas City, Mo. (Rockhurst) athlete A.J. Taylor is set to make his decision Saturday afternoon. 247Sports' Evan Flood and BadgerBlitz.com's Jon McNamara both reported the announcement should be around 1:30 p.m. CT (1:40 p.m. per Flood, 1:30 per McNamara).

Taylor, a 247Sports' composite four-star recruit, has offers from Missouri, Nebraska and Louisville -- but per Taylor's dad in an article by 247Sports, noted his decision will be between a final three of Wisconsin, Northwestern and Maryland.

Crystal ball predictions firmly hold the Badgers as the presumed favorites of the 5'11 190-pound projected wide receiver's services, with momentum swinging heavily in late July.

B5Q will give you the latest once the official word comes out if Taylor commits to Wisconsin or to one of the other programs; however, there's hype around some big news coming this weekend, though, from Wisconsin's current verbal commits. Are these signs of an impending commitment?

Big news coming soon...☀️☀️

Officials set for Armunz Mathews, Carlos Becker

McNamara also tweeted out Friday afternoon that Tallahassee, Fla., (North Florida Christian) cornerback and current South Florida commit Armunz Mathews set his official visit date to Madison for Oct. 3, which is the home contest against Iowa.

The 5'11, 180-pound three-star recruit committed to the Bulls back in June, but recently took an unofficial visit to Wisconsin earlier this week -- see articles from BadgerNation.com's Ben Worgull ($), Flood ($) and McNamara ($) on how it went, which based off the news of scheduling an official visit, seems favorable.

And guess who else is coming in for his official that same weekend? Fort Lauderdale, Fla., inside linebacker, Wisconsin commit and unofficial recruiter Dallas Jeanty:

Official visit Oct 3 w blood @AsapMat Mad Town be ready

Scout.com's Corey Bender reported Friday morning three-star defensive back Carlos Becker set three official visits -- to Wisconsin, Iowa and N.C. State. Rivals.com's Blair Sanderson tweeted out Friday afternoon the 6'1.5, 181-pound Kissimmee, Fla., (Osceola) standout the same information as Bender, as he will be in Madison on the weekend of Sept. 25 (Hawaii game). The one difference between the two reports -- whether Becker is visiting Iowa or Iowa State on Oct. 15. Becker has double-digit offers from some impressive college football programs, including Florida State, Ohio State and Notre Dame.

Dallas Jeanty offered by Tennessee

Speaking of Jeanty, the 6'0, 210-pound Wisconsin verbal commit picked up an offer from the Tennessee Volunteers Friday. Would this sway Jeanty away from the Badgers and to the Vols?

Well, he responded accordingly:

no. https://t.co/a3J1gDWWQg

Seems like he's pretty solid to Wisconsin.
