Wisconsin Football: Mertz tests positive for COVID

It's an indication of nothing. UW said plainly yesterday they were not releasing any info positive or negative going forward on any player due to HIPPA. Remember the reports on Mertz and Wolf came from the media citing "sources"

so if they don't release any results, how will the casinos and gamblers know if these guys can play or not?

and where are these "sources" now that we need them?

Though WI not saying also makes Nebraska have to prep for 3 QBs because you have no idea who might start.

if i were a casino (literally impossible), i would take the wisconsin game off the table.

The only way we're going to know how this whole thing scopes out is when we get daily reports on practice, and who they don't see on the field. It will leak out, if they're missing.

Wisconsin qb Graham Mertz has tested positive for COVID a second time (backing up the first positive) and will enter the Big Ten's 21-day protocol, a source told CBS Sports.

that pretty much guarantees the badgers will not make the playoffs.
