Time will tell on our passing game. It's difficult believing Hornibrook is going to throw the ball around that much, considering what we have at running back. If the defense is as stiff as it could be, the objective will be to run off clock by keeping the ball on the ground, not look at needing another score, to stay in a game. You sure don't take the ball out of Taylor's hands when you're ahead.

Its just as much the threat of the pass. You can't go with 8 in the box if you have a vertical threat. Also JT needs more ball security

Pounding the rock works against the weaker teams, but it doesn't work against the teams you need to beat to get to a top-10 ranking or compete for a national title. You can't just say you will dominate a defense like OSU's or any other top-10 team's unless their offense is equally one dimensional like LSU at Lambeau a couple of years ago. They don't have to throw it all over the yard, but they need to pose enough of a threat to stop teams from putting 8-9 guys in the box and essentially daring you to throw.
