The 2016-17 Wisconsin Badgers basketball season is just over a month away and that means practices are about to get going in earnest. It also means that head coach Greg Gard will get to take the podium for press conferences as the permanent head coach for the first time ever.
On Monday, that event took place after a special announcement pertaining to Wisconsin’s exhibition game against UW-Platteville.
Here is Gard speaking to the media for the first time for the 2016-17 season:
