General:
Injured:
- Full pads
- Jarveon Howard released & Henry Pearson re-signed.
- Welcome to the 17th practice
- Former Packers O-line coach James Campen is at camp today dressed in team garb. Campen is serving as a consultant in the personnel department. Should help them a lot identifying O-line prospects as well as evaluating their own. If anyone knows what a Packers offensive lineman looks like, it's James Campen. He helped develop a lot of great players over 15 years.
Injured:
- AJ Dillon (stinger)
- Andre Dillard (shoulder)
- Keshawn Banks DL (groin)
- MarShawn Lloyd RB (groin)
- Preston Smith (illness)
- Spencer Waege (concussion)
- Tyler Davis (shoulder)
- Edgerrin Cooper LB (hip, limited)
- Interesting - Jacob Monk rotating in at RG with the starters in walkthroughs. Could be misremembering but don’t recall seeing that.
- Starters in team:
- Love
- Jacobs
- Reed - Watson - Wicks
- Kraft
- Walker - EJ - Myers - Rhyan - Tom
- Offense starts with two really nice runs by Josh Jacobs
- Completed a deep crosser to Romeo Doubs from Love. Love had all day. Beautiful throw from 10 to 87. Great start for the offense. Play draws a big reaction from crowd..
- With all the injuries at RB - Nate McCrary just got a carry with the ones. Made the most of it. Nice little run up the middle. Good burst.
- Love hits Doubs in stride down the sideline for a big pickup. In a game McKinney would have had a free hit on him but he lets up on this one.
- Rhyan starts at RG, now Monk getting some reps.
- Love complete to Reed for a nice pickup
- Really nice Jacobs run
- A crosser to Kraft for a big gain and the offense is on fire.
- Love completed all 4 passes for 77 yards.
- Love to Doubs. Behind him, Doubs got his hands on it but couldn’t haul it in. Should have been an easy completion. First mistake from the offense.
- Love to Watson complete over the middle. Another one that in the game Watson would have taken a hit but this time Quay kept him safe.
- Love to Kraft on a screen for a BIG gain. Probably the best executed screen I’ve seen from GB in a while.
- Love to Musgrave complete for a short gain.
- Love to Reed on a wide receiver screen that also works. Offense making everything look good at the moment.
- Good pressure by the defense but Love somehow finds Kraft out wide on a checkdown for a handful of yards.
- We will see what happens in team drills but in walkthroughs Rhyan began at RG with Monk then rotating in.
- Starters in team:
- Gary - Slaton - Clark - Enagbare
- Quay - McDuffie
- Stokes - Nixon - Jaire
- McKinney - Bullard
- Hale, Joseph, Carlson all here at practice so no changes at kicker.
- Carlson (41L, 45R) and Hale (43R, 45R) go 2 for 2
- Joseph missed from 43R and then made 41L
- Joseph misses from 47L and 49L.
- Carlson makes extra point and misses 47L off right upright.
- Hale makes extra point but missed 49R wide left.
- Today:
- Joseph 1/4
- Hale 3/4
- Carlson 3/4
- Camp totals:
- Anders Carlson: 53/66 - 80.3%
- Greg Joseph: 53/68 - 77.9%
- Alex Hale: 14/20 - 70.0%
- Kicking competition continues to stink. Sure looked like Greg Joseph was going to start pulling away, but he's had a terrible last week or so.

- On Ty'Ron Hopper: "It was good. There were some moments where he showed some physicality. There were some moments that he showed he hadn't played football in a while. There were a lot of good plays and ones we have to learn from and get better."
