MM on Montravius Adams: Did some really good things in first day of pads. He's more comfortable with things he did.

MM On Aaron Jones: Don't have a timeline. He's out today (hamstring).

Michael Cohen @Michael_Cohen13
Mike McCarthy says Montravius Adams is in much better shape than he was last season. "I thought he did some really good things in the first day of pads." #Packers

McCarthy says he doesn't have a timeline on Aaron Jones' hamstring injury. Jones didn't practice Saturday after experiencing some tightness. #Packers

McCarthy is pleased with Geronimo Allison's camp thus far. He said there were some really nice clips of Allison's routes from 1 on 1s over the weekend. #Packers

#Packers OLB C.J. Johnson isn’t practicing today. He’s on the field but not wearing pads.

Rookie CB Jaire Alexander intercepts Aaron Rodgers in team reps. Pass intended for Randall Cobb, and Alexander undercut the crossing route, That’s five interceptions for Rodgers thus far in camp. The other three QBs have combined for zero if my records are accurate.

Packers worked on placement punting from the 50-yard line and the opponent 40-yard line. Here are JK Scott’s unofficial numbers:
1. 4.19 hang, landed at the 10 2. 4.28 hang, landed 18 3. 4.25 hang, landed 6 4. 4.62 hang, landed 10 5. 4.20 hang, landed 6 6. 4.20 hang, landed 7.

Packers DE Mike Daniels dropped out of practice and hasn’t returned. He went inside with both a trainer and an equipment guy. Appeared to have a problem with his left leg.

Wes Hodkiewicz @WesHod
Davante Adams with a highlight reel catch in WR vs DB. Twists his body on the sideline to catch a one-handed pass #Packers

@PackerReport

Brice is being carted off the field. A very important player on the defense.

* Josh Jones struggled in coverage on multiple reps

*Equanimeous St. Brown had a beautiful move to create big separation from Josh Jackson

#Packers using Kyle Murphy at right tackle instead of Jason Spriggs with the starting offense in 2-min drill.

Aaron Rodgers intercepted by Ha Ha Clinton-Dix on a deflected pass in the end zone during 2-min drill. Fourth down and Rodgers had to force one to the end zone.

@Michael_Cohen13

Jake Ryan down on the field grabbing his right knee. He’s screaming in pain. Teammates huddled around him. This looks bad.

Clinton-Dix with another interception of Rodgers. To Adams on a crossing route.

And that’s that. 2 hours, 2 minutes for practice. Two potentially serious injuries and lightning in the area.

Damn! More injuries! It just never ends!

Brice is being carted off the field. A very important player on the defense.

FP( the DEF has sunk to the point where an UDFA who didn't play a full season last year and only had so/so numbers the year before is called a "very important player" on defense...

Ryan’s injury sounds like a season-ender. No word on Brice. Brice was getting the majority of snaps with the 1s at S. So potentially down 2 starters on paper.

Hope Rollins is ready, because it sounds like Jones was getting beat repeatedly in coverage.

Said it earlier in shout. Slide Matthews inside and turn him lose. You can use a guy like Jones outside as a Bandit backer on 2nd/3rd. I might try Reggie Gilbert early or even give Burks a shot at the outside spot.

The other thing they can do is play more 4 man front, maybe more 4-2-5 looks where Rollins/Jones attack the line of scrimmage. MP has many many options open to him. tc(

I could deal with Matthews inside, in fact he might be a bigger asset inside then out.
