Arod is a prima donna. We know this. he whines, he sulks, he goes Jay Cutler pout sometimes. That's just who he is. Many of us here have questioned his leadership as well. He didn't give his best effort at times last year, and when he started disagreeing with MM he would basically take his ball and go home and do it his way. That all came from a story 2-3 weeks ago.... Florio is late to the party. Off season filler stories.![]()
Good point DannoBut will he accept being “coached”?
I look at that as separate from leadership.
He's called uncoachable because he didn't listen to the coach all the time? Yes, we all know that he went rogue at times by going downfield and not throwing to open receivers in shorter patterns. But what we forget at times is the intelligence that he brings to the game, and the vision of what's happening on the field - he's seeing things that MM was not. I think MM got stuck in a rut with the offense and AR felt he had to go off script to be successful; not giving him a free pass but I don't think it was a pouty thing, but more of him trying to do too much by himself at times.Uncoachable? Perhaps Rodgers needs something to get his interest. When you play in one system for over a decade with little change you will get bored with the system. Good coaches find way's to adapt and change not only to keep D's guessing but to keep their own players for getting complancent.
