The Badgers men's hockey team is in the rankings for the first time since it was 1-3 in October but it still hasn't climbed out of a losing record.

Despite sitting at #16 in the Pairwise, that sub-.500 record also makes them ineligible for post-season play. A series tonight and tomorrow at Mariucci with the Gophers doesn't bode well, but hopefully with 6 winnable games after that we can improve.

Though really unless you're top 12 in the Pairwise you shouldn't count on making it. Probably have to win the conference tournament if that holds.

Unfortunately, I agree. And, we're only up in rankings because of Overtime losses. Bucky screwed the pooch early, and just isn't that good.
